Istanbul is considered the largest city in Turkey. Transportation system of Istanbul is not that much developed, although it has improved a lot for past several years, but still people prefer taxi to travel between different points. Public transport is cheaper but for that you have to travel a lot to reach any tram station, so your physical condition should be good otherwise taxi is a better but a costly option.
